From tender to town
Cruise guests generally land in the St Peter Port harbour area near Albert Quay and walk into the town centre. Exact pontoon arrangements can vary — follow your ship’s directions. Once ashore, High Street, the harbour front, and cafés are close enough for an independent short call.
What to see without leaving town
Harbour views, the marina outlook, shopping streets, and perspectives toward Castle Cornet on the breakwater side give a full half-day for many guests. Castle entry and opening hours should be checked for your date if you plan more than a viewpoint walk.
When to stay in town
Choose St Peter Port walking when tendering already consumed part of the morning, weather is unsettled, mobility needs favour short distances, or you simply prefer cafés and harbour atmosphere over a coastal drive.
