North and west coast bays
Guernsey’s north and west shores open onto a chain of bays with wide skies and tidal sands. They photograph well and pair naturally with a scenic drive from St Peter Port — allow road time and a pause at viewpoints rather than treating every bay as a long beach stop on a short call.
Southwest cliffs and lighthouse views
Toward Pleinmont and Les Hanois, the coast turns to cliffs and lighthouse outlooks. Conditions can be breezy; paths and pull-ins vary. These are highlights of our small-group coastal circuit when weather and timing allow.
South coast coves
Areas such as Petit Bot and Icart reward short walks and cliff-edge views. They sit further from the tender landing than the harbour town — realistic as part of a guided three-hour loop, less so as a last-minute independent dash.
Forts along the way
Sites such as Fort Houmet and Fort George often appear on coastal circuits as outlook or history pauses. Exact access depends on the day; we treat them as likely circuit points, not a fixed checklist you can claim in advance.
